Fingertip is still a bit numb. We hired a guy to build a storage shed for us once. He came to the door and asked where the nearest hospital was and held up his hand. He had driven a nail through the center of his hand with a nail gun. He wasn't the brightest bulb on the chandelier. Fortunately his hand wasn't too seriously injured he missed the vital parts. One problem with nail guns or brad nailers is that if the nail hits something solid in the wood like another nail, it will drive the nail backward toward did user. If you have your hand holding the board next to nail gun the nail might go through your hand, or in my case the fingertip. I learned a valuable lesson there.
